NAGA CITY—Children playing near a creek in a village here found body parts in two sacks late Monday, prompting police to investigate, a police official said yesterday.
PO2 Alexander Lapid, case investigator, said residents of Barangay Cararayan reported the grisly find to police after children found two sacks emitting foul odor that turned out to contain body parts.
Lapid said two legs and two arms were found in one sack and a torso in the other sack. No head was found.
Two sets of tattoos were found on the remains—one on the left wrist and the other one, resembling a gunshot wound, on the right thigh. Juan Escandor Jr., Inquirer Southern Luzon
