MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has partnered with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) to improve employee training programs and support.
The university’s expertise in psychology will be made available to the CAAP for use in its training programs, according to a statement released by the Department of Transportation on Thursday.
CAAP has been undergoing a reorganization under the Governance Commission Memorandum Circular 2015-04, which involves Change Management Trainings (CMTs) for CAAP leaders and individual contributors.
Under the memo, the PUP will provide resource persons to facilitate Change Management Trainings (CMTs), Mental Health Seminars, and other learning and development programs.
According to the DOTr, the mutually beneficial partnership led by the PUP Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Arts Psychology programs will promote its programs and improve the quality of the workplace and the life of employees at CAAP. — Mae Anne Bilolo, intern
