Marcos congratulates new med techs: Let’s uplift healthcare system

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Wednesday congratulated the passers of the March 2023 medical technologist licensure exam, urging them to uplift the country’s healthcare system.
“We are filled with pride and joy as we congratulate our March 2023 MedTech Licensure Exam Passers!” he said in a Twitter post.
“Together, let’s continue to uplift our nation’s healthcare system. Mabuhay ang mga bagong RMTs (registered medical technologists)!” Marcos added.

According to the Professional Regulatory Commission, 4,714 out of 6,165 passed the licensure exam.
A graduate from Colegio San Agustin in Bacolod City — Sidrey Mel Aldeguer Flores — topped the exam with a score of 92.10%.
