Baste Duterte named as Davao Region’s peace and order council chairman

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has named Davao City Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, son of former President Rodrigo Duterte, as chairman of the Regional Peace and Order Council for the Davao Region.

This was revealed on Tuesday by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) as it released the list of new appointees in the council.
