4 drug suspects nabbed in Laguna, Batangas; P132,000 shabu seized
LUCENA CITY – Police anti-narcotics operatives arrested four drug suspects and seized over P132,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) and a motorcycle in Laguna and Batangas provinces on Monday (March 13).
In a report Tuesday (March 14), the Regional Police 4A said drug enforcers in Calamba City, Laguna police nabbed Lester John Luna during a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Bucal at 12:17 p.m.
Authorities seized three sachets of meth with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P40,800.
Later, the same team of operatives collared Bernie and Benjo Malana, in another drug sting operation in Barangay Pansol at about 3:29 p.m. The suspects’ personal relationship with each other was not specified in the report.
The duo yielded three sachets of meth with a DDB value of P23,800.
Anti-illegal drugs operatives in San Jose, Batangas busted Abner and Rico Alog (their personal relationship was also not specified) at 10:15 p.m. in Barangay Aguila.
They yielded two sachets of shabu worth P68,000 as per DDB valuation.
The police also confiscated a motorcycle without plate number believed to have been used by the suspects in their illegal drug trade.
All arrested suspects were included on the police drug watch list in their respective localities.
They were detained and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
