LUCENA CITY — Police anti-narcotics operatives in Biñan City, Laguna arrested Friday two alleged drug pushers and seized over P87,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth), police said Saturday, March 11.

Jocelyn Marquina was collared at 9:55 p.m. after she sold shabu worth P500 to an undercover cop in Barangay Canlalay, the Police Region 4A said.

Seized from the suspect were four sachets of meth with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P42,250.

Earlier, the same police team busted Christian de la Peña in another drug sting in Barangay Casile.

The suspect yielded six sachets of meth with a DDB value of P45,500.

The report tagged De la Peña as a “high-value” target in the government’s war against illegal drugs, while Marquina is a street-level drug pusher in the village.

The suspects were detained and face complaints of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
