MANILA, Philippines — Authorities have arrested two Malaysian nationals in Parañaque City after discovering over P13,000 suspected crystal meth or “shabu.”
On Wednesday, the Philippine National Police-Public Information Office (PNP-PIO) said that the authorities seized two grams or P13,600 worth of suspected shabu in two transparent plastic sachets with a plastic tube pipe.
Personnel of Paranaque City Tambo Police Substation were patrolling along Quirino Avenue, Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City, on March 7 when they received a call from an officer that caught the foreign nationals who reportedly did illegal drug transactions in a condominium.
Both suspects were POGO workers identified as Sing Tien Roong, 38, and Sin Weng Leong, 23, for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The arrested suspects were brought to Tambo Police Substation for documentation and disposition, while the seized illegal drug evidence will be turned over to Southern Police District Forensic Unit (SPDFU) for quantitative and qualitative examination.
