Elderly man hacked to death in Camarines Norte

A 63-year-old man was hacked to death while inside his house in San Lorenzo Ruiz town in Camarines Norte.

LEGAZPI CITY — A 63-year-old man was hacked to death while inside his house in San Lorenzo Ruiz town in Camarines Norte on Friday.

In a report, Camarines Norte police said Wilfredo Abraham was hacked using a bolo by the 20-year-old suspect, who was identified as “Jerry”, in Barangay (village) San Isidro at around 2:30 a.m.

Investigators said Abraham was watching television when he was attacked by the suspect.

The victim was brought to a hospital but was declared dead.

The suspect later surrendered to the village officials and was turned over to the police for proper disposition.
