P345,000 worth of ‘shabu’ seized in Camarines Norte

An anti-illegal drugs team arrested a high-value drug personality and seized P345,000 worth of "shabu" (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation in Daet town in Camarines Norte late Thursday, March 2.

LEGAZPI CITY — An anti-illegal drugs team arrested a high-value drug personality and seized P345,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation in Daet town in Camarines Norte late Thursday, March 2.

In a report on Friday, Lt. Col. Arnel De Jesus, chief of Daet police, said the suspect, who was identified as “Iking,” 41, was arrested in Barangay (village) Camambugan at 6:05 p.m.

Authorities recovered medium and large sachets of shabu weighing 50 grams.
