House Oks Negros Island bill on 2nd reading

BACOLOD CITY — The House of Representatives approved the Negros Island Region (NIR) bill on second reading on Wednesday, March 1.

“Let’s continue to support this bill, and hope for its final approval,“ said Rep. Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez of Negros Occidental’s third district.

House Bill 7355 was part of an omnibus motion to approve several local bills in the House calendar of business on Wednesday.
