MANILA Philippines — The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has provided relief goods to the residents of the Municipality of Carmen in Davao del Norte who were affected by heavy flooding.

Around 331 family evacuees received relief good boxes which contained sleeping mats, blankets, mosquito nets, hygiene kits, and other sanitary items, according to a Facebook post of Vice President Sara Duterte on Thursday.

The OVP also distributed 500 sacks of rice to 103 families who did not evacuate but were also affected.

Meanwhile, over 4,000 individuals were said to have been affected by the flooding incident. —Vance Chan, trainee
