MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Luzon (PDEA 3) arrested 13 people and confiscated some P186,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) after raiding two suspected drug dens here late Tuesday, Feb. 28.

In a statement, PDEA 3 said eight suspects were arrested in Roxas Street, Dau village at 9:42 p.m.

After an hour, the PDEA team proceeded to another suspected drug den along the same street and arrested five more suspects.

The raids were conducted after undercover operatives successfully bought shabu from the suspects using marked money.

PDEA 3 said the two separate operations yielded some 27 grams of shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia.

On Feb. 26, PDEA 3 arrested nine people in a makeshift drug den at Dapdap village here and seized some 15 grams of shabu and 10 grams of marijuana with a combined street value of P104,500.

The arrested suspects face charges of violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022. INQ
