Ilocos Norte police force breaks ground for P103 million infra projects

LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte — The Ilocos Norte provincial police office (INPPO) has broken ground for various infrastructure projects worth P103 million, authorities said Monday, Feb. 27.

Among the projects launched were the construction of a multi-purpose building that will house the INNPO worth P25 million; a community defense center worth P30 million; a retirees building worth P8 million; a grandstand for P10 million; and a building as guesthouse, fitness gym, and conference hall worth P30 million.

Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos and INPPO provincial director Col. Julius Suriben led the groundbreaking ceremony on Feb. 24.

Marcos said the construction of the buildings would serve the police and Armed Forces whom he described as “heroes of our nation” as he extended the gratitude of his father, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., to them for their service.
