P350,000 worth of shabu confiscated in Occidental Mindoro town buy-bust

CITY OF CALAPAN – At least P350,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) was confiscated Sunday morning (Feb. 26) in a buy-bust operation in San Jose town in Occidental Mindoro province, according to a report from Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan (Mimaropa) police.

Police and personnel from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), at 1:35 a.m., arrested Christian Robles, 25, and Irene Daprosa, 42, after they sold 0.4 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,000 to a poseur buyer in Barangay (village) San Roque.

Recovered from Daprosa were four sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 50 grams and valued at P350,000.

Robles, a resident of Barangay San Roque, and Daprosa, a resident of Barangay Sta. Lucia in Sablayan town, are under police custody and will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
