MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) recorded on Saturday 142 new COVID-19 cases, increasing the active tally to 9,343.
In the last two weeks, the DOH recorded 419 new cases in Metro Manila, 238 in Davao Region, 173 in Calabarzon, 94 in Western Visayas, and 74 in Soccsksargen.
The death toll increased by seven.
The total number of cases nationwide is now at 4,076,064. Out of that total, 4,000,638 have recovered, while 66,083 died.
The bed occupancy rate nationwide was at 17 percent as of Friday. There were over 25,163 total beds — 4,270 occupied and 20,893 vacant.
Meanwhile, 328 testing laboratories submitted data on 8,349 locals that were tested for COVID-19.
