New chief of Central Luzon PNP to wage intensified campaign vs crimes
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. formally took over the helm of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Wednesday, Feb. 22.
The PRO3 public information office said the change of command, which was presided over by Philippine National Police Chief Rodolfo Azurin, was made after the retirement of Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen from police service.
Hidalgo is a member of the Philippine National Police Academy’s Tagapagkalinga Class of 1991. He served as deputy regional director of the National Capital Region police.
He also served as the battalion commander of the Central Luzon police’s public safety company.
Hidalgo promised to intensify the campaign against criminality in the region. INQ
