MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Luzon and the Visayas will see rain due to a low-pressure area (LPA) that entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.
The weather bureau said the LPA was estimated to be 40 kilometers east of Masbate City as of Sunday afternoon.
Although it is not expected to develop into a storm, it is expected to bring moderate to heavy rain in Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Bicol Region, Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, and Samar.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon, or “amihan,” will continue to bring cloudy skies in Cagayan province, Cordillera, Quezon province, and the Bicol region.
