MANILA, Philippines — The trips of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) on Friday are limited from Gil Puyat to Roosevelt Stations and vice versa due to an electrical issue.
“At around 5:55am, LRT-1 experienced a defective pantograph for a Gen-3 train set between Libertad and EDSA Stations (southbound) which resulted to limited operations running from Gil Puyat to Roosevelt Stations (and vice versa) only,” the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) posted on Twitter.

The LRMC’s engineering team is already onsite to resolve the issue.
“LRMC Engineering Team is already onsite for the removal of defective train and the necessary works to resume normal operations as soon as possible,” it said.
The LRMC apologized to passengers for the inconvenience.
