MANILA, Philippines — The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) has named two undersecretaries for now – as three more are expected to be appointed in the coming days – following an executive directive that prompted its reorganization.
Based on its website as of Thursday, February 16, the two undersecretaries were:
- Emerald Ridao, for Digital Media Services
- Cherbett Karen Maralit, for Operations, Administration, and Finance
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. earlier signed Executive Order No. 16, reorganizing the PCO and reducing the number of its undersecretaries from eight to five.
According to Executive Order No. 16, the five undersecretaries will lead the five functional areas in the restructured PCO:

- Traditional Media and External Affairs, Digital Media Services
- Content Production, Broadcast Production
- Operations, Administration, and Finance

No assistant secretaries were shown yet in the directory on the PCO website. Under the order, there should be 15 assistant secretaries, including the one that should directly report to the PCO Secretary.
