MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) field office in Western Visayas has made Valentine’s Day extra special with a unique dress code.
“To foster camaraderie and employee morale in the Field Office, everyone is hereby encouraged to dress down on February 14, 2023 (Tuesday) in celebration of Valentine’s Day,” the regional office said in its memorandum.
Based on the memorandum, employees are encouraged to wear the following colors:
- Red – “in a relationship”
- White – “single”
- Green – “no label, no problem”
- Black – “broken-hearted”
- Yellow “hoping still”
- Pink – “moved on”
- Orange – “nbsb/ngsb” (no boyfriend/girlfriend since birth)
- Blue – “importante buhi” (what matters is you are alive)
- Multi-colored – “It’s complicated”
However, the regional officers reminded its employees that despite the designated colors, all personnel are still obliged to observe the prescribed dress code.
