ORMOC CITY — A farmer was killed by a construction worker whose wife allegedly had an affair with the victim in Barangay Lubi-Lubi, La Paz town, Leyte on Wednesday, Feb 8.
Nilo Suyom, 32, suffered stab wounds from Agusto Pedrigal, 42.
Initial investigation conducted by the local police disclosed that the suspect had suspicions that his wife was having an illicit affair with the victim.
The suspect made a surprise visit to their home and caught his wife and the victim kissing.
Because of anger, the suspect stabbed the victim several times.
The victim was declared dead on Thursday morning.
The suspect is now under the custody of La Paz Police Station pending the filing of charges against him.
