‘High-value’ drug suspect yields gun, bullets in Occidental Mindoro town

CITY OF CALAPAN— Authorities on Thursday arrested a suspected “high-value” drug trader in San Jose town Occidental Mindoro province, who allegedly yielded P340,000 worth of illegal drugs.

Joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency–Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) and Occidental Mindoro police arrested Robert John Felipe, 24, during a search of his residence in Barangay Pag-asa on Tuesday, February 7.

Authorities said Felipe yielded drug paraphernalia, a gun, and ammunition during the warrant-sanctioned search.

The suspect will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition, according to police.
