House in Tarlac yields firearms, bullets
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Policemen serving a search warrant on Sunday, Feb. 5, found a rifle, two pistols, and 170 rounds of assorted live bullets from a house at Santa Rosa village in Concepcion town, Tarlac province.
In a statement, the Tarlac police said operatives led by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) implemented the search warrant issued by Judge Percival Atinaja of Concepcion Regional Trial Court Branch 113 against Falcon Fabula, 47, for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunitions Regulation Act.
Assisted by Tarlac police officers and elements of the Special Action Force, operatives searched the residence of Fabula and allegedly found a caliber 5.56 UDMC semi-automatic rifle with five magazines and 102 rounds of ammunition for the firearm.
The Tarlac police said a 9-mm Sig Sauer pistol with a magazine and 12 live bullets and a .40-mm Sig Sauer pistol with four magazines and rounds of ammunition were also seized.
The alleged owner of the firearms and ammunition was accosted and brought to the CIDG Tarlac office for documentation and disposition.
