MANILA, Philippines — The entire country is forecast to have partly cloudy skies with chances of rain on Saturday, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
According to the agency, there are no low pressure areas inside the Philippine area of responsibility that can turn into a tropical cyclone.
(Today we expect that it will be cloudy to partly cloudy skies over the entire country. We can just expect isolated rain, lighting and thunder in Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao. We are also expecting weak rains and drizzle in Luzon due to the northeast monsoon).
Pagasa said that the rain in Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao is due to localized thunderstorms.
No gale warning has been raised but Pagasa still cautioned fishermen to be careful of moderate to rough waves.
