MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather with only light rains can be expected from Thursday evening to Friday, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Pagasa said that the northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon (including Metro Manila) and Visayas with “no significant impact” other than partly cloudy skies and light rain.
“For the next 24 hours, buong magdamag, simula ngayong gabi hanggang bukas nang madaling araw, makakaranas pa rin tayo ng pangkalahatang maaliwalas na panahon,” said Pagasa weather specialist Daniel James Villamil.
(For the next 24 hours, for the entire night, starting tonight until tomorrow daybreak, we will experience generally clear skies.)
Mindanao is forecast to experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms.
No gale warnings have been raised by Pagasa, so fishermen and those with small seacrafts are allowed to go out to sea.
Pagasa also said that it is not monitoring any low-pressure areas in the Philippine area of responsibility.
