MANILA, Philippines—An oil-spill incident occurred at a gasoline station in Casinglot village, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental Tuesday dawn, a report from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said.

A personnel from Petron, while conducting transfer operations, did not notice that the valve going to the canal was slightly opened, consequently spilling the gasoline in a nearby mangrove area at about 3 a.m.
