The COVID-19 positivity rate is the number of people testing positive for the virus among those getting tested.

Tuesday’s COVID-19 positivity rate is a slight increase from the nationwide rate on Monday, which David previously reported to be at  2.0 percent.

Meanwhile, the DOH also said that the country’s total recorded cases totalled 4,072,188, with 3,949,820 recoveries and 65,618 deaths.

Only 15.29 percent of dedicated COVID-19 intensive care unit (ICU) beds have been occupied by patients while non-ICU CVID beds are 19.29 percent occupied, said the DOH. A total 10.62 percent of mechanical ventilators are used.
