A Cebu-based beauty products company will open its P13-million production plant in Luzon in May to serve the market there.

GT Cosmetics Manufacturing also plans to invest another P13 million for a plant in the Mindanao area.

The investment of a new production plant in Bulacan only signaled an increase in demand for the firm’s whitening beauty products especially in the Luzon market, said GT Cosmetics Manufacturing owner engineer Leonora B. Salvane.

“Our new plant in Bulacan has the same capacity as our Cebu plant at 4,000 soaps every day. We are confident with our Luzon market, which we only entered late last year and already has grown so much in terms of distribution,” said Salvane.

GT products are now available in major retail chains in Luzon, including Watsons, and will soon be available in other retail chains in the area.
