Marcos Jr. taps Robinsons’ Frederick Go as investment adviser

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has named Robinsons Land president and chief executive officer Frederick Go as his adviser on investment and economic affairs.

MANILA, Philippines — Frederick Go, president and chief executive officer of Robinsons Land, has been appointed by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. as his adviser on investment and economic matters.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) announced this on Friday, a day after it confirmed that International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) chief financial officer Rafael Consing Jr. had been named for the post.

The listed port operator also announced that Consing accepted the position of presidential adviser on investments and economic affairs.

The Palace said that Consing would instead “assist” Go in his office.

“Robinsons Land President and Chief Executive Officer Frederick Go has been appointed as Presidential Adviser on Investment and Economic Affairs,” the PCO said in a statement.

“Rafael Consing Jr. will assist Secretary Go in his office,” it added.

Go joined the Gokongwei-led Robinsons Land Corporation in 1992.
