LUCENA CITY — A rider died early Friday after his motorcycle collided with a van in Imus City in Cavite province.
The Police Regional Office 4-A reported that Andre Christopher Reyes, 35, was driving his motorcycle at 2:15 a.m. when he collided head-on with a Toyota Hiace commuter van driven by John Marco Soriano along the NIA Road in Barangay Malagasang 1G.
Reyes suffered injuries and was taken to Ospital ng Imus, but he died along the way.
Police said the motorcyclist, who was drunk, was traveling against the traffic flow, resulting in the accident. INQ
