MANILA, Philippines – Several domestic flights were canceled on Friday, January 20, 2023 due to inclement weather.
According to an advisory from the Manila International Airport Authority, the following flights have been called off as of 9:50 a.m.:
Cebu Pacific (5J)
- 5J 321 Manila-Legazpi (Daraga)
- 5J 322 Legazpi (Daraga)-Manila
- 5J 823 Manila-Virac
- 5J 824 Virac-Manila
CebGo (DG)
- DG 6113 Manila-Naga
- DG 6114 Naga-Manila
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration, in its latest update said the northeast monsoon or “amihan” is affecting Luzon which is expected to bring cloudy skies and rains over several areas.
Meanwhile, the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and the Visayas will also experience cloudy skies and rains and thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. — Niña Cuasay, INQUIRER.net trainee
