MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines received “good” advice from experts regarding the proposed Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF) during President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s trip to Davos, Switzerland.

Senator Mark Villar revealed this Thursday, describing the inputs as “very useful.”

“We were able to get some good inputs from experts, stakeholders, and international counterparts in relation to the Maharlika Fund. This is very useful, especially in our role to tackle it in the Senate,” Villar said in a statement Thursday. Villar was part of the Philippine delegation to this year’s World Economic Forum in Davos where Marcos presented the MIF’s key points.
