Over P1.9 million illegal drugs seized in Central Luzon

OLONGAPO CITY–More than P1.9 million worth of illegal drugs were seized in weeklong operations of various police units in Central Luzon, according to the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).
In a report, the PRO3 said the drug haul was made from Jan. 8 to 14, when policemen in the region carried out 104 anti-narcotics operations.
At least 139 drug suspects were also arrested during these operations, it said.
During the same period, 180 of the most wanted fugitives in the region were also collared in a series of manhunt operations.
The PRO3 said five others were collared for illegal possession of firearms, while 65 others were captured for illegal gambling last week. Ten more people were arrested for robbery. INQ
