MANILA, Philippines — A dead woman was found inside an abandoned car in Las Piñas City on Tuesday morning, said the police.
The Las Piñas City police, in a spot report, said a 29-year-old beauty specialist was found lifeless inside a silver Mazda along the C5 Extension Road in Barangay Zapote.
Two street sweepers first took notice of the parked vehicle, which they then reported to the security guard around the area.
“During inspection, they noticed a lifeless body of the victim with blood stains at the road, prompting them to report the matter to the duty security guard and to Zapote substation and likewise to [the] office for investigation,” said the police.
Scene of the crime operatives were later requested to conduct an investigation on the incident.
The cause of the woman’s death remains unknown, but according to the police, her body had already been turned over to the forensic unit of the Philippine National Police for an autopsy.
