MANILA, Philippines — Airport officials announced the cancellation of several domestic flights on Monday as inclement weather persists in parts of the country due to the low pressure area (LPA), shear line, and northeast monsoon or locally termed as amihan.

The following flights are called off, according to an advisory from the Manila International Airport Authority:

PAL Express (2P)

Cebgo (DG)

AirSwift (T6)

The state weather bureau earlier said the combined effects of the LPA and the shear line will bring rain over Metro Manila, Miaropa (Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan), Bicol Region, and Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon).
