4.5 quake hits Surigao del Sur

MANILA, Philippines—A 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck Lingig, Surigao del Sur Tuesday afternoon, state volcanologists said.
The tectonic quake occurred at 12:25 p.m. 33 kilometers northeast of Lingig, the Philippine Volcanology and Seismology said.

It was felt at Intensity III in Bislig City and Intensity II in Butuan City.
There were no reported damages or injuries and no aftershocks were expected.
