MANILA, Philippines — A number of flights were canceled on Friday due to weather issues.

The Manila International Airport Authority said the following flights are canceled as of 2:55 p.m., January 13:

• DG 6177/6178 Manila-Masbate-Manila
• DG 6113/6114 Manila-Naga-Manila
• DG 6881/6882 Manila-Surigao-Manila
• DG 6839/6840 Manila-Siargao-Manila
• DG 6117/6118 Manila-Naga-Manila

PAL Express (2P)

• 2P 2971/2972 Manila-Siargao-Manila
• 2P 2079/2080 Manila-Catarman-Manila

Overcast skies and rains are expected in the Bicol region and the entire Visayas and Mindanao on Friday due to a low-pressure area off Surigao del Sur, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.
