LUCENA CITY — A fire that broke out Tuesday night razed at least 30 houses in Dasmariñas City in Cavite province.
The Region 4A police, in a spot report Wednesday (Jan. 11), said the blaze started at 6:10 p.m. and razed a residential area in Barangay Paliparan Site 3.
“Some residents in the area suddenly heard an explosion followed by a big fire,” the police said.
A person suffered second degree burn, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC)-Cavite chapter reported.
The PRC said the fire displaced 54 families. They were sheltered in a government evacuation center.
Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
