Hours later, Dumo’s sister-in-law and son, Mark Jaylord, discovered him hanging with an electrical wire  tied around his neck while the other end was tied to the ceiling.

Police said the victim could have killed himself because of humiliation.

Police, however, advised the relatives to subject Dumo’s body to an autopsy to rule out foul play in his death./Correspondent Gabriel C. Bonjoc and UP Intern Peter I. Romanillos

Man molests child

A man was arrested after he was accused of molesting an 8-year-old girl Sunday night in Bulacao Pardo, Cebu City.

The grade 1 pupil  told police  her 63-year-old neighbor inserted his fingers inside her genitals.

Police said the mother asked her  15-year-old son to look for his sister after she arrived and could not find the girl.

The mother said the suspect’s wife told her son to fetch the girl  at their house as her husband was touching her private parts.

The parents, said this was the second time that the suspect molested their child, arrested the suspect.

But the suspect denied the accusations.

The mother said the suspect previously gave the child money before molesting her.

Police said medical staff at the pink room of Vicente Sotto Memorial Hospital found lacerations in the victim’s genitals.
