Bradley has nowhere to run, says Pacquiao

Wala siyang tatakbuhan (He will have nowhere to run),” is how 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao anticipates his upcoming fight with unbeaten American Timothy Bradley.

Pacquiao is anticipating a hard-fought and very entertaining showdown with the junior welterweight champion but the Sarangani representative told sports broadcaster Snow Badua of NBN 4’s Teledyaryo Sports show in an exclusive interview recently shared to the Examiner.com that he will be implementing similar tactics he used against Oscar Dela Hoya.

Wary of Bradley’s head-first charge, Pacquiao will be relying on his side-to-side movement to avoid headbutts. “Magandang laban ito. Magaling din at undefeated si Bradley… malakas (This is a good fight. Bradley is very good and undefeated.. he’s strong),” Pacquiao described his June 9 opponent.

Asked if he is concerned that Bradley might end up running away and avoid going toe-to-toe with him, Pacquiao cracked that any attempts to run away will be futile. “Wala siyang tatakbuhan (He will have nowhere to run),” joked Pacquiao. /philboxing
