Currently, 30% of the Hinulugang Taktak sewage treatment facility is finished. The project is expected to be completed by December 2025.

As part of its commitment to provide better sewerage and sanitation services for its increasing customers in the East Zone of Metro Manila, Manila Water is constructing the P2.5-billion Hinulugang Taktak Sewerage System Project, which includes a 16-million-liter-per-day sewage treatment plant (STP) and four-kilometer combined sewer network, in Antipolo City.

To date, 30% of the Hinulugang Taktak STP is finished, with work on a pumping station, a force main network, and a gravity network already underway.
