MANILA, Philippines — Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) was forced to reduce train service on Tuesday afternoon because of a problem with the rolling stock.
The rolling stock was faulty at the Taft and Magallanes interstations, according to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) (northbound).
The MRT-3 offered temporary service between North Avenue station and Shaw Boulevard station.
On the mainline, only eight trains ran.
The interim service ended around 4:30 p.m.
