10 hurt in firecracker-related incidents in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales–At least 10 firecracker-related incidents were recorded in this province during the holiday celebration, police said Monday, Jan. 2.
According to data from the Zambales provincial police office, the incidents happened from Dec. 25, 2022 to Jan. 2, 2023 in six of the 13 towns in the province.

Castillejos town had the highest number of firecracker-related injuries after registering three, while Masinloc and Candelaria had two each.

Meanwhile, the towns of Subic, San Antonio and Palauig had one incident each.
The number was higher compared with only four recorded incidents in the same period last year, police said. INQ
