1 dead, 3 missing in Mati City landslide

DAVAO CITY – One person died while three others were injured following a landslide in Barangay Don Salvador Lopez in Mati City due to heavy rains.
The fatality was identified as Cristituto Paglanson, 62, of Purok Sangay, one of the seven areas affected by the landslide which blocked some roads.
Paglanson’s body was found six hours after he was reported missing.
Still missing are two teenaged boys and a 52-year old man.
According to the information office of the Mati City government, rescue and retrieval operations are ongoing as of posting time.
