MANILA, Philippines — It will still be a rainy Tuesday in some parts of the country where the shear line will prevail, according to the state weather bureau.
In its 11:00 a.m. update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said moderate to heavy and at times intense rains are expected in Eastern Visayas due to the shear line.
Moderate to at times heavy rains are also expected in Palawan, Bohol, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and the Caraga region, Pagasa added.
Flooding and rain-induced landslides are likely in rain-affected areas, Pagasa warned.
Thirteen deaths as a result of the disruptive weather system have so far been reported. 23 other individuals remain missing while thousands were displaced, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
