(Let us pray and believe that in working together, we can achieve this goal. And most of all, let us open our hearts to the spirit of unity.)
Marcos also hoped that the joy of Christmas will be a source of strength for Filipinos to continue their work for a better future in the Philippines.
“Nawa’y ang ligaya at saya nitong Pasko ang siyang maging bukal ng lakas upang patuloy tayong magsikap para sa ikabubuti ng ating minamahal na bansang Pilipinas,” he said.
(May the joy of Christmas be a source of strength so that we can continue serving our country.)
In a separate video message, the First Family also gave their Christmas message, urging Filipinos to express gratitude for the blessings they received, such as health, livelihood and family.
They said Filipinos will go far when they are united and helping each other.
(Wherever you are in the world, I am sure that the Filipino Christmas is alive. We greet you with a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.)
