Power cooperative exec slain in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY — A general manager of an electric cooperative was gunned down at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec, 21, by still-unidentified assailants.

Danny Pondevilla of the Northern Negros Electric Cooperative was seated in the driver’s seat of his Toyota CRV, when shot at 16 Lacson Street, the police said.

His vehicle was parked in front of BazKet BCD, an outdoor food park.

Police are conducting an investigation to identify the assailants and the motive behind the killing of Pondevilla, a resident of Providencia Subdivision in Barangay Mansilingan of this city.
