MMDA announces alternate routes during MMFF’s Parade of Stars 2022

MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Tuesday told motorists to avoid certain roads and take alternate routes during the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars 2022 on Wednesday, Dec. 21.

According to MMDA in a statement, the parade will start at 4 p.m. and travel from Mabuhay Rotonda and through Quezon Avenue until reaching the Quezon Memorial Circle.

Due to this, the westbound direction of E. Rodriguez from D. Tuazon to Mabuhay Rotonda will be closed to vehicular traffic. It will only be opened after all parade floats have passed.

But motorists should avoid E. Rodriguez Avenue from Banaue to Mabuhay Rotonda as early as Tuesday night as it will be used as a staging area for the floats. One lane in the westbound direction will be occupied, while the eastbound direction will remain open to traffic.
