A tropical cyclone entering PAR over next 3 days unlikely — Pagasa

Pagasa no cyclone in PAR

MANILA, Philippines — A tropical cyclone forming or entering the Philippine area of responsibility over the next three days is unlikely, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

“Sa ngayon po ay wala tayong namo-monitor na low pressure area sa loob o labas ng ating Philippine area of responsibility, kaya naman sa mga susunod pa na mga araw ay asahan pa din natin ang generally fair weather condition sa ating bansa,” said Pagasa weather specialist Patrick Del Mundo.

“Mababa pa din ang tiyansa na magkaroon tayo ng bagyo in the next three days,” Del Mundo added.

(The likelihood of a tropical cyclone for the next three days is still low.)

According to Pagasa’s forecast, the country is expecting either one to two tropical cyclones within its area of responsibility.

Tropical Depression Rosal entered the country last week but had no direct effect on the country.
