5 most wanted fugitives in Central Luzon fall

The top most wanted person in Central Luzon was arrested along with four other fugitives in the region, police said Tuesday, Dec. 13.

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales–The top most wanted person in Central Luzon was arrested along with four other fugitives in the region, police said Tuesday, Dec. 13.

In a report, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said Janeth Cruz, a member of the communist New People’s Army, was arrested in Bulacan province on the strength of a warrant issued by a local court in Zambales.

Cruz, who was wanted for kidnapping and murder, was captured at Barangay Mojon in Mololos City by a team from Zambales and Bulacan police.

The PRO3 said the four other fugitives were arrested in the provinces of Bulacan, Pampanga, and Nueva Ecija.

They were identified as Ronald Maranan (for statutory rape), Christian San Pedro (for robbery), Dexter Ornum (for rape), and Mark Denver (for homicide).

Police said the fugitives were among the most wanted persons in these provinces. INQ
